Hotel Alaturka
This little Hotel with 11 rooms is very nice if you want to stay in the Sultanahmet-district. It is not too luxury, but not too shabby either. The rooms are clean, the staff is nice (although I cannot understand why they won’t find someone with proper English) and they even have a terrace overlooking the area. Single Room from 50, Double Room from 65 Euros.

Manzara Istanbul
First things first: This is not a hotel, but an organisation searching, renovating, furnishing and renting out flats for short-term in Istanbul. And they do a great job. The flats are splendid, located all over the city and despite being quite luxury they also offer smaller – but still beautiful – flats for a budget price. The hook? There is no cook! Ok and the cleaning fee. Flats per night from 55 – 160 Euros, + 35 Euro cleaning fee.

You can find a restaurant with lovely view (as you might already have figured out – it’s all about the view in Istanbul!) and all the other basic stuff you need. Single Room from 50, Double Room from 70 Euros.
